Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that circumstances sometimes change and there'll be a need to cancel the session you've booked. This guide tells you how to cancel on site and app and when cancellations are eligible for a refund. Please read it closely before requesting any refunds.​
Cancelling and Rescheduling
You can manage your bookings by visiting 'My Bookings' on the website. Click the 'Manage' button and select the option of choice. Sessions booked via membership will automatically be recredited and must be used before the membership expires; PAYG bookings will not be recredited automatically. If your PAYG cancellation is eligible for a refund, you can fill out the form to request this via the 'Request a refund' button or by visiting the help section. Our refund policy is at the bottom of this page.
Rescheduling can only be done to a like for like session i.e. a Social Wednesday for a Social Wednesday where the cost of each session is the same. If you wish to reschedule to a different session i.e. Social Wednesday for a Ladder Wednesday, monthly members should cancel the original session and rebook with their recredit and PAYG members should contact the organiser to arrange this.


To manage app bookings:

Go to the Bookings Tab

Find the booking either under 'Your bookings' or by searching the calendar

Select the booking you wish to amend by clicking '...' or 'Booked'

As with website bookings, membership cancellations are recredited automatically and refunds for PAYG bookings must be requested by filling out the form.



Refund Policy
Bookings are non-refundable if cancelled less than 24 hours before the session starts, regardless of the reason.​ Any monies or coupons used will not be refunded or recredited after this time. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please contact us. Failure to do so will result in a no-show - three no-shows and your booking privileges may be suspended.

Memberships are non-refundable once they are active or if you have purchased discounted event tickets as part of your membership. Unused sessions at the expiry of a membership are forfeit. Prorated refunds or membership extensions will be issued if Budminton has to cancel at short notice.

PAYG refunds are NOT issued automatically after cancellation and it is the responsibility of the attendee to request a refund, whether for credit or cash, before the deadline. You can request a refund by submitting this form. Once your submission has been validated, a credit (as Bud Bucks) will be added to your account. For cash refunds, the amount you paid minus a cancellation fee of £2 will be refunded to your original payment method. If a coupon was used to pay, the coupon will be refunded if the organiser is contacted before the deadline.​

There may be occasions when Budminton has to reschedule or cancel a session at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We may offer an alternative session and will attempt to communicate this via website chat and WhatsApp with at least 72 hours notice. A full refund or coupon will be issued upon request for PAYG bookings. A membership extension will be offered to monthly members upon request if less than 72 hours notice is given or no alternative session is available. If an extension is unsuitable, a prorated refund may be offered. Members must contact the organiser to discuss their preference in this circumstance.
